Health Ministry

Health Ministry Christian stewardship is not limited to how we handle our financial resources or our time; it also includes the care of our bodies.  The scriptures tell us our bodies “are the temple of the Holy Spirit.”  As such, we believe we have a mandate from God to nurture healthy bodies. The Health and Wellness Ministry takes a proactive role in educating our church family on diet, diseases, prevention and all aspects of a healthy lifestyle. The goal is to help everyone take care of their bodies so they can be of maximum service to the Lord.We promote the health and healing of our church members and the community regarding body, mind, and spirit. Our Health and Wellness Ministry is a safe, growing, biblically sound ministry providing the support, prayers, and tools that people need to become physically, spiritually, and emotionally healthier. Developing a health ministry does not require vast sums of money. It only requires us to become the body of Christ. We must have the compassion, heart, soul, and love of Christ. The scripture reference: III John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
